ROCK DRILL GREASE is an adhesive black grease, which contains anti-wear, anti-corrosion and extreme pressure additives. The grease is resistant to severe water wash and lubricates effectively in wet conditions. ROCK DRILL GREASE adequately protects, in its entirety, all front end parts. Due to the small gap between the end of the water tube and the water inlet of the drill shank, water under pressure passes between this gap into the chuck-nut and between the splines of the piston. “Washing off” of the lubricant may occur, with resultant corrosion and rusting of the piston splines. This condition is most destructive to the wearing surfaces of the chuck-nuts. ROCK DRILL GREASE is highly resistant to water washing.
